A MYSTICAL UNDERSTANDING OF THE MOON
In Jewish mysticism, the moon symbolizes the feminine embodiment of divine light. Just as the moon receives light from the sun and processes it through her vessel each month, we, too, as receivers of divine light, process this flow through our own physical beings. This makes us, like the moon, reflectors of the divine in our relationship with G-d.
By working with the spiritual maps of each month, we come into deeper alignment with our movement through space and time, recognizing how intimately guided we are by G-d. We begin to see the divine fabric that holds our story together.
LEVANA Life is a way of being in the world—a way of living into the cycles, connecting more intimately to one’s own existence and to THE existence.
THE PURPOSE
The purpose of this 12-week journey is to deepen our connection to our personal process as we move through the months of Tishrei, Cheshvan, and Kislev. This experience offers a broader perspective, allowing us to see the unique arc woven into each month individually and collectively while recognizing our own story reflected within them.
The waxing, the waning, the cycles—everything has its place.
As the moon and the months ebb and flow, so do we. Our lives, with all their highs and lows, are sacred. Our calling is to be in joy when life is fully illuminated and to remain in faith when it grows dark, trusting that wherever we are in the journey, it is all part of the process.
HERE’S WHAT’S INCLUDED IN THIS EXPERIENCE
60-Minute Zoom Introductory Call: An overview of key frameworks and spiritual maps we will use throughout our 12-week journey.
90-Minute Weekly Zoom Calls: Dive into each month through four primary themes or points of focus, with a total of 12 calls. These calls will also be a space for you to share how each week’s theme has shown up in your own life.
Weekly Practices & Rituals: Receive weekly practices, journaling prompts, and crafted rituals aligned with specific themes to help you integrate the month’s teachings into your embodied experience.
1:1 60-Minute Zoom Session: A deep dive session with Joyce to further guide you in your unique process during this journey.
Intimate Community: Be part of a close-knit group of like-minded women, sharing, processing, and supporting one another as you move through this transformative journey.
*Please note that while this journey will include educational elements, the focus will be more on experiential learning. We will emphasize personal insights as you attune to the energy of each month, becoming more aware and sensitive to the wisdom flowing through you.

Introductory Call:

Tishrei Calls:
October 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd (Tuesdays @ 7:30pm EST)
Cheshvan Calls:
October 30th, November 6th, 13th, 20th (Wednesdays @ 7:30pm EST)
Kislev Calls:
November 27th, December 5th, 12th, 19th (Thursdays @ 7:30pm EST)
Please note that as we progress through the lunar calendar, Rosh Chodesh (the head of the month) begins later in the week. As we stay on the pulse of the moon and her movement from month to month, our call days will shift one day later each month: Tishrei on Tuesdays, Cheshvan on Wednesdays, and Kislev on Thursdays.
